It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter. Proverbs 25:2

God has adopted us as His children and now we are children of The Most-High God.  God is our adopted heavenly Father and King so we are brothers and sisters in Christ. Jesus was fully God and was born as a man and He gave His life so that we may live abundantly on earth.

We are no longer part of this fallen world system. Though we live in this world we have a new home, a new family and a new citizenship in heaven.

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people (peculiar people), that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; NKJ

We were once strangers to God and His kingdom ways, but Christ came so that we may become children of God and joint heirs with Christ in His kingdom on earth. That is why we are called strange, because we are different from those who live their lives on earth only to satisfy themselves. We are not of this world but of the family of God and our real home is in heaven with God.

Ephesians 2:19

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, NKJ

We have different rules and principles that we live by. They are not the same as the world’s and all that we see and hear on television and on social media. The world is about satisfying self, selfishness and pride. We are children of God; children of the Most-High King and He has made us to be kings and priests. We are to help others to know God by the way we live, how we talk and how we act or behave.

Ephesians 1: 5-6

God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.  So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son. NLT

Through the power of the Holy Spirit, who lives in us, we will learn and seek the truth about Jesus so that we can live the life that He has chosen for us to live for Him. We will act differently because we will not be full of pride or anger but we will be kind, gentle and forgiving others. We are to forgive everyone everything, because the love of God lives within us. Though it may be a process, with prayer and the help of the Holy Spirit, He will give us the love we need to forgive others.

Ephesians 4:31-32

Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.

When we live God’s way it is so different from the way of this fallen world. We will live and act in love, not retaliating against those who have wronged us, even though we may be justified in doing so. We do not look to get our own revenge or seek to get justice for ourselves, but we trust God who judges justly and make things right.

God has instructed us on how to live and treat others so that they may see the love of God in us and that it will encourage others to want to know God for themselves and to also receive His love and peace.

1 Peter 2:23 who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;

What we see all around us is the result of sin and the enemy of God trying to destroy God’s people, those created in His image. This world is full of hate and anger but God has shown us His love and wants us to show that love to those who are lost and do not yet know Him. We are no longer part of this fallen world system but we have been made new, a new creation of God to fulfill His purpose for our lives. We are to show the love of Christ and to reflect and reveal His glory and live with Him forever.

2 Corinthians 5: 17-18 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,

When this world, our society, friends or even family memberstries to pressure us into following the way that everyone is going and to do those spiteful and hateful things, just say No! This is what the Lord God requires of us, to say no to the things of this world, to live in humility and not in pride and to do the right thing. We are to love mercy and be quick to forgive and to rejoice when others are given another chance by God’s mercy.

Micah6:8

No, O people, the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

John 13:34

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

We are to “Just say No”

To the things of this world

We are to “Just do it”

The things the Lord has required of us,

Which are; to love mercy, to do the right things and to love God and others.
